To be fair you could level that at most of the players this, and the last two, seasons. Although willing him to do well, Webster's comments in the media are worrying. His team selections don't fill me with confidence either. Hopefully he grows into the role and becomes his own man rather than a clone of Agar.

IMO kirmond hasn't been great this year at all and if we had had depth should have been dropped for a couple of games. I'd say McShane has probably been our most consistent player this season

Almost all of them. To me your seeing what you expected to see from Sammut, the reality is that he has been a dreadful signing so far IMHO and I'd ship him off tomorrow.

Webster has gone with what worked for us in the past.
Sammut probably still has a part to play but at least he's not trying to shoehorn him in at the expense of playing another player out of position.
He has brought Smith in an Siejka out and got a win, so it's not a bad start for me.
