Far too many people in this country with a cap-doffing attitude to the wealthy and powerful; that's how the status quo has been maintained for so long and probably always will be - when a berk like Gary Barlow is canonised because he does charity work, I despair.

Just to clear things up Marwan made the offer to Steves widow and family about a month after Steve passed away.
The family agreed and Marwan said he wanted to wait until he found a young horse that would reflect Steves standing and do justice to Steves memory.
Marwan is paying all the horses fees and costs and as some have said any earnings will go to the Steve Prescott Foundation.
Why some people can't accept it as a gesture and have to look for negatives makes me wonder how our game got this Rugby League family myth

Tax pays for everything, if you don't like how it's spent then that's fine vote in a party that will cut government expenditure. Some will cut to the point where children starve to death, the elderly get no care and rich folk drive past in their limos, if that's what you want.

I bet you are an absolute nightmare to live with!! You come across as one miserable piece of work. But I'm sure you only do it to be controversial. You need your bumps feeling if you wouldn't do whatever it takes to get your tax reduced legally. Let me hazard a guess then that when you retire if you have enough money you will donate your old age pension and winter fuel allowance to charity? Didn't think so.
