Why do you think people from Stanley and Methley have been screwed, as far as I know not many of them wanted this project to happen in the first place so if anything they may be happier now as they only have the traffic through the week from an industrial site that probably would have happened any way in time, and they don't have the traffic that would have come on weekends from the rugby. |

As I have said before I might well have objected to this development had it not been for the promise of new sporting facilities which are badly needed in the Wakefield District. How many more Stanley residents feel like this? As NGBFC said, Screwed!
In fact I would say 'blatantly lied to' which feels worse somehow.

Very cosy in the East stand. It's been a long time since we have stood shoulder to shoulder. Pit it was the cloud burst and not a full stadium.

Here here I am from the Stanley area and know may residents in methley one couple wanted the ground but didn't want the factories etc. I would have put up with that aslong as we got the ground. I Will take belle vue being done up but I can't see it.After last night it showed its age, was embarassing |

Well if it was that Embarassing why don't you get down and give a hand doing the ground up until we get something better.Just a couple of hours is all that's needed if lots more got involved but I forgot because of the hours/shifts/children/disabled children/family commitments you don't have the time well guess what I have all those and have managed to get down and give a hand.Taken my Autistic son down with me who has helped out it gets me when people say love this club and you see only a handful of people helping to try and get the old girl in some sort of shape.

Fans at RSS being evacuated from the standing area in front of the main stand, into the seats, because the terracing's under water!
