Very sad news - if you're a 40 something, you'll have fond memories of watching The Young Ones, then going to school the next day and doing a Rik impression.
I also loved him reading 'George's Marvellous Medicine' on Jackanory - made my son a Roald Dahl fan, which can never be a bad thing.
A Dangerous Brother, Rik Britton, Kevin Turvey, Alan B'stard, Richard Richard, Lord Flashheart...
Comedy genius!!
Put a spoiler on an otherwise good day yesterday, my comedy hero is gone but not forgotten.
RIP Rik!!
Lord Flasheart..... ....could watch the same sketches over and over again... ....The only light on the sad news is plenty of re runs of his talented sketches ...R.I.P. Rick you will be greatly missed.
