| Quote wrencat1873="wrencat1873"What was it like in the Championship (3 times !) ?
Btw, excellent win today, thoroughly deserved and I've won a few bob

Remembering those dark days of the championship games and going to far flung places like barrow, Gateshead and Whitehaven and the relegation games, crap seasons where we barely competed makes us savour days like yesterday even more, still it was only a 1/4 final and tougher challenges lie ahead but I am glad to see the sensible ones amongst you were wanting us to beat wigan ( I wouldn't expect you to cheer for us) Good luck for the rest of the season and I do hope you stay up which has been my view consistently unless it was at the expense of us

| Quote bren2k="bren2k"Like it or not, Cas outplayed Wigan today in every dept; a thoroughly deserved win, despite the official's best efforts.
Funny to hear Shaun Wane say in his post-match interview that Cas were allowed to lay on at the ruck; I believe that shortly afterwards, a pot declared that a kettle was black.'"

| Quote JINJER="JINJER"Because you are in the minority, apart from one or two sensible posters all we get is garbage from Cas fans, take a look at the Nutjobs forum and they're practically wetting theirselves that we have another CCJ against us, you may be in the minority mate but the majority are creaming themselves at our predicament.'"
The whole six people who contributed to that thread since mention of the CCJ out of 2.5k members, or even 0.2% of the forum. Even then, some have mentioned other things. Hardly creaming themselves. Most of us couldn't be concerned - more concerned about getting by the quarter-final yesterday.

| Quote BD="BD"I think it's a case of the 'silent majority' - most of us aren't 'creaming ourselves' when you consider that we've been down twice in the past 10 years - we know how crap it is. I think a few idiot fans hold grudges from 2006 when you relegated us, which is pointless.'"
I think a lot of people hold animosity from the bitter spats that have resulted from the 'great stadia' race and the media's intent on playing both clubs against each other. Indeed, it became more about a points-scoring exercise. I, like many other fans from both sides, will probably be glad that it comes down to the rugby, which matters most.

Why would any supporter of Cas on there be bothered about us at the moment or at any time to be honest? Cas are doing amazingly well and look like they could do big things going forward. Dont get some of the daft bitterness going both ways at times.

Wow stats and stats, you can play the mis understood card Fully but Cas fans are enjoying our dilemma, look at the Nutjobs forum where it's 100% negative negativity you've only to look and there's a thread Trinity only that has 23,558, yes Fully 23,558 views! And 377 replies, not a lot of people there backing Wakey!

Views are irrelevant.
People go into that forum and read the thread 3/4/5 times over the course of it's length. Every time a new post is added to a thread, people read it; it doesn't necessarily imply people agree or are enjoying it. The thread has been running since January. That's 4.6k views per month. Let's put this in context:
There's a thread in the main Cas Forum area with 1,500 views after being posted just today with only 26 responses.
It's not just Wakefield Cas fans are interested in; there's a Koukash thread with 16k views in the Other RL section and similarly a Bradford thread with lots too.

| And this thread has 3000 views off 7 pages too - it works both ways.

| Yep stats wise, 23,558 views, Cas fans aren't particularly bothered either way are they?

If it was a thread that had been running months with new posts being added once every week or every month (i.e. your Bradford one about three posts down, which has 14k in 5 days alone) then no, views are irrelevant.
If I was to bring a thread of old to the top of this board - say the one entitled 'Bradford' on page 5 with 18k views already, if I made a post on that tonight in response to another post on there, I'd bet it have 20k views by the end of the week.
Anyway, this digresses from the point of this thread to discuss Cas's performance versus Wigan and/or supporting Cas v Wigan.
Thank you for those that provided support and for their well-wishes anyway. It was a proud performance that will certainly be hard to replicate, that is for sure.
