Are the RFL legally bound to adhere to any decision made by this "independent panel" which according to an earlier post was paid for by the Bradford owner?

That's how I read it also. Which is quite interesting.
The claims must be substantial enough to be taken seriously, although if the Bulls had proof, I would have thought they would have taken it to the hearing. |

Totally agree, if they didn't have enough "supportive evidence" to overthrow the points deduction, then the result should be no points returned!
Sounds like the panel are trying to do as much as they can to give the points back.

Change the record!
The panel is independent. If they come back and say we can't have any points back then this is the decision. If they come back and agree the circumstances were a little 'dodgy', then you should ask what was dodgy, and why certain parties acted in a certain way. This is not a Bradford V Wakey fight - It's a Bulls v RFL fight.
Do you really think the RFL want to be proved to be the wrong party? They will not want any points handing back to Bradford as this will open the next can of worms as to 'what really happened'.
Trust me, the world is not against Wakefield.
