Constructive criticism and I agree.

The post-match interview after the magic weekend debacle is what really worried me. Agar sounded absolutely clueless. Would you be inspired by this:

“We’ve had two or three weeks of heading in the right direction but when we have too many people that aren’t at the top of their game then we have got that in us,” said Agar of a second derby defeat of the year.

“I thought the start of the game was very, very important for us. Castleford do start games exceptionally well and have done all season and I thought once we were in the grind in the first few sets we then throw a really soft, loose pass in our own ten, try a chip and chase and kick a ball out on the full. It probably set the tone for us. We felt at half-time we were dealing with a shell shocked team.

“We felt that two or three of Castleford’s tries we handed them to them on a plate. They were clinical and they’re a good side, a really good side. We didn’t have enough answer or response to the guys in the middle. The amount of offloads they got and Daryl Clark was particularly threatening off the back of that. We practised for it, trained for it but at the coalface you’ve got to make your tackles better than we did.”

When I say our defensive structures are poor I don't only talk about this season we have 2 seasons prior to this one and nothing has changed in those structures.I will say again even when on a seven game run we were very fortunate as we let some real soft scores in.It would be nice to know why it appeared that Fox was dropped and Mathers was put on the wing what a blinder that one is.Why experiment at KR when we ran Saints so close and yes the ref appeared to be a different one in each half but even in the Saints game we let some soft scores in so were we undone by the ref or our defensive shortcomings.Take how things came about with Seijka you would have had to been in a coma for it not to look like Agar shifted the team about to bring him in.I want whats best for this club that's why I have helped out at the ground its also why I paid for my season ticket when I could have had a freebie due to one of my childrens condition.Just might be we need to bring someone in to work along side what we have to improve our defensive side of the game but you cant help scratch your head at team selections.

This is sort of how I feel also.
I don't have a problem backing the club but when we seem to be getting something right, the wheels fall off.
If we are looking to finish 12th this season, I don't think we will finish above this next year because we will have the same scenario.
If we are to break the cycle, there is no point re-signing the Washbrooks, Sykes and Mathers.
There are quite a few players coming OCC at the end of the season, that will free up quite a fair wedge.
This could be used to sign a couple of quality players, not 3 or 4 steady players.
But in the end they have to be coached right.

I copied it from his email to me.. He definately wants the club moving forward I assure you of that. Just witnessing his emotions shows he cares. For the club to move forward the owner needs good family, friends, staff & supporters around them!

In the majority he has.. Keep believing, keep supporting. We all want the same thing!
