Quote fullofhope="fullofhope"I'm aware that people can be hyper sensitive on here but I was wondering, I've watched Wakey for 25 years home and away etc etc.
Now this season I won't go again until I am entertained, yes I love the club but common sense dictates that I want to spend my leisure time and money on being entertained.
I suppose my question is for those of you that still go religiously even though and I feel justified in saying this the product currently is atrocious, what keeps you going even when there is nothing visually of interest.
I've often wondered this of diehards, ill stress again I'm am not judging you at all just interested in your drivers.'"
You say you won't go again until you are entertained. How will you know if you don't go?
This is Wakey, we are likely to put in a great performance against someone unexpectedly and you won't be there. You'll see the result, think "that's better" and now I will go again as it looks like we can be entertaining. You'll turn up at the next game and we'll get battered and be awful.
So the reason I go to every (or as many as I possibly can) game is because I don't want to miss those occasional games where we do something unexpected. I'd love it if we could do it every week but I'm realistic enough to know that just isn't going to happen - you just have to enjoy it when it does.
Take the midweek game in 1994 at Wigan as a prime example - We went there having been beaten in the cup 2 weeks earlier, Tuigamala was making his Wigan debut, everyone expected Wigan to walk all over us and Henry Paul ran the show and we came away victorious.
That's why I go, for moments like that.
