Ive said it before, but i would try Mathers in the Centre. He played there for Cas on a few occasions, once against us at Belle Vue and im sure he walked away with the MOM. Put him there and he isnt so isolated and also his replacement would hopefully offer more when returning the ball.
I just dont see him as a full back anymore. The pace isnt there for starters.

Riley would be a far better option. Sykes for me is in much the same boat as Mathers, maybe one year too long at the top level.

His whole demeanor throughout the match was nothing short of disgraceful. The only thing he did of any note was start a fight.

I agree, its not something I like to see players getting bagged but I hate to see anyone showing a sulking selfish attitude, these are professionals and are paid some highly to do a job

With Kirmond off the field I assume he was captain too. Compare and contrast. One man had to be dragged off the field, the other didn't want to be on it.

Always called him a showman who tried to impress the fans throwing his arms about as if he was organising things,he certainly didn't fool me ,now supporters have cottened on to his antics and can't run the show, he's been seen in is true colours
