although i wouldn't be daft enough to post drivvle about the abilities of a team unless i watch them every single week....any team can have an off day.

Good news that the rest have caught up and in some cases taken over the early pacesetters in "big boy

" rugby .

I didnt go to Cas Lock Lane but was given prior warning not I needed it that no one goes there for an easy ride.

I think this year will be one where character will be tested at Crigg 14s and IMHO we will have to be at our very best to come close to beating Rangers in the Wakey cup.

Im not shocked! This as happened throughout this age group since the dominant Cas Panthers 8s Stanley 9s/10s etc . And with the addition of East and West Hull and Siddal 2 years ago it takes everything just to survive.

Then again we did come within a penalty of beating the league leaders at their place

well the long awaited come back is here after suffering a damaged ankle and putting him self out of the game for over two months

today he gets a run out for Normy U17s v Elland away.

Another fantastic team performance saw the panthers 14s beat last years treble winners east leeds 16-22.the team did it the hard way fighting back from 16-4 down and for the second week running nilling there opponents in the second half.

At present were looking for a sponsor to help aid the u17s get a new kit down at Normanton the one they are playing in needs replacing and I was wondering if there's a business or group that could help out, its easier when the lads are younger and they have that awe factor but as they get older it does tend to be harder to convince.


The main stay of the team is from the u16s from the winter league but decided to move up a year into the summer league some players that was playing a year above their age slipped down to give a more compact side, so far this formula is paying dividends and the side is unbeaten

hope I haven't put the mockers on them now

another good win today 8-44 to Normy u17s put up a very good first half organised and disciplined pushing the score to 4-34 but the game plan went astray in the second half, not bad to say they had three main players out

How did Louis go Snowie and has the injury cleared up.

not bad played two stints one as prop other as , seems to be holding up, tackled well nothing got past him and drove hard but showed lack of match fitness nothing too much to worry about though. pleased to see him on the field
