id have the entire squad helping u until its finished and show the commitment you have shown and the effort youve put it then id send them down a mine for the rest of the week then make them come to training on a night like they used too make them realise what a priviliged position there in doing something they love for a living

I will be down around 10am mate to help out.I will bring a few sledge hammers/picks/spades/shovels and the players can spend a day breaking concrete steps up and repairing them

few set backs today in supplies today but we have over come it and are near back on track to getting the west stand done by weds,

there was a major problem with the steps that caused the original test failure and four out of the five barriers showed up why, had these had the same depth of concrete under the fixings as just in front of them they may not have given way the way they did, either way they still wouldn't of passed and they are now being fixed like the east stand and won't require bracketing. Glenn should be proud of his lads as they endured digging holes deep enough and found it so heavy going that it took them well into the evening. I'll stick to what I do best



so after a long 11hr day I only managed to get 4 welded but made sure that the 5 that need sinking was ready for the mix tomorrow but it didn't help when the heavens opened up and drenched us

Today I took time out to talk to our longest serving helpers at Belle Vue Mrs B

she's 84 year old and has given over 40 years service in helping in the background, the stories she was tell us had us smiling and had to take time out while she had us stood.

in her honour I thought it was right that she too had her name on the west stand

Can you do one with Elston & Glover on it so we can all GOFF on it as we walk past it
