Hi all

Been a long time since i've posted on here as i moved down south a few years ago.

Thinking of going to Catalans away for a short break to tie in with watching the game.

Could anybody advise where the wakefield fans will be staying / busy area as looking to drink quite a bit. best place to stay to travel to the game but do want a short break / few days on the lash.

Thinking of going thursday and returning tuesday.

We always stayed in Perpignan itself, saves travelling on game day, taxi into the city is cheap as you're only ten miles maximum away, we stayed in the Aragon hotel, a nice small and friendly hotel a few minutes stroll into town. We then spent a couple of days on the beach, a bus is only €5 return.

Always stay in Canet, fab beach, 1/2 hour on bus to ground, all the players and celebs come out round canet on Saturday evening, it's great, not going this year unless I come in to some cash but been 4 times and love it. I've flown to Barcelona and driven from there also from Montpellier, have also driven all the way there and back which was a killer
Beer/food is expensive in restaurants but takeaways are cheap as are the supermarkets for drink
Pub next to ground is the best matchday atmosphere I have ever experienced in a pub by a ground and I think it's also the cheapest beer in Perpignan
