Frustrating isn't it? The second half at Salford, we built some good pressure and forced several repeat sets - I thought we'd finally got the clue - then it all went to pot against Bradford and the hail mary stuff started again.

I find it most frustrating when we are 14 points up and playing catch up rugby as if we were 20 points down.

You're wrong there, Wallshaw wouldn't look bad in the centres. His supposed lack of speed would be compensated by his bulg and good defines. He played in the centres last year and had a blinder.

Whether his position is centre long term who know, but I suspect as a player he's now pretty much ruined.

I think Sykes has a very good rugby brain though and it is his limited abilities that mean he isn't better than he is.

If you put mixed sykes brain with sammuts talent and ability you would have a fantstic half.

not sure I agree but that's fine - even if he does have a good brain I think he rarely shows it on the field and in general it seems he has very little influence over the direction of the team in any case.

One of the main brains in the team is probably Mathers but he doesn't have the heart to go with it and from what I have seen I think McShane reads the game really well.

This should be the point when experience takes over and the older heads should certainly know how to control the game.
Having said that, until we get off the mark with our first "W", the pressure will build and this is the cause of the majority of brain farts.
I'd certainly settle for an ugly 2 points, even if this means 5 drives and a kick, rather than looking for clever attacking plays.
