All the team apart from Fox, Lauitiiti and Dan Smith were rubbish and an embarassment last night....Tautai will be a good impact prop for Trinity this year.

What about Anderson and Raleigh who both appeared out muscled and sent backwards on more than one occasion driving the ball in? Don't recall that with Tautai.

I am not picking out one player, its just an interesting stat, 9 games 9 losses. I do not think he is anymore crap than any of our other players. My opinion is that all are palyers are crap except for Ali who is a proven player at the top level, plus Wildie, Trout, Walshaw and Anakin who have great potential. I also think that McShane is a good player.

So Kirmond and Collis are crap then?

From the outside looking in; TT is a liability. He doesn't offer enough consistently to the team and I don't think you need him. You have AL to be devastating close to the line, you have DK running excellent lines (usually) and others who do the hard slog. I really don't see anything in TT other than it looks good when he runs like he's on a rampage oh and he's from the Southern Hemisphere so must be better!
Can I ask, out of interest, what people think his worth to wakey is in salary terms.

I like Tautai and I do think he will come good. He'll make a few errors but he wasn't the only one last night and it's harsh to single him out. Especially as he runs with more vigor than any other player (few exceptions maybe). If he cuts the knock ons out he will cause all sorts of problems. Raleigh seems very lightweight to me. Works hard but he got smashed yesterday. The less said about Washbrook, who seems to just plod through games, the better. I'd like to see Annakin in (when he's fit) at Loose Forward if we're going to use Tautai as a second row/prop.

We really do lack any kind of class in the backs apart from collis. I just hope the halfbacks start to gel and quick. We can't afford our wingers to spurn opportunities this year. Fox is the only half-decent finisher we have and even then he's liable for a lot of defensive errors. I suspect our wingers will be targeted by any team worth their salt this year.

(the 4 day turnaround, whilst the same for both teams, is something that needs looking at. Further down the line teams could have a major advantage if they go from Friday-Thursday, instead of Sunday-Thursday.
