Don't know what LFC was expecting but to feel desperation after one game is laughable. We were excellent in the second half and with a bit more composure would have beat a side that is tipped for great things this year. Looks rosy for the coming season for us.

Ironically, now I've seen the highlights, it was Tim Smith that stopped the Ali try and held him up.
Whether that was the right decision or not it is ironic considering we were all saying he was the weak link in defense.
