| I must admit I haven't had a season ticket for many years due to work, Cricket, family and the uncertainty of when games will be played ie changes for sky.
I have two sons age 12/15 who sometimes want to watch the games, but when the whole family go to a game, add in program, food, drinks etc, there isn't much change from £100 so we cant afford every home game, a mini family season ticket would appeal but it would have to be flexible for a range of games as we cant get to every match.

| people do need tempting though. Offers work in every walk of life, and the better the offer the more tempting resulting in an increase in sales. The club MUST look at offers to increase its sales, to sit back and hope for x number walking on the day without tempting them back is an utter waste. Gates against salford, london and cats are low, i would think of making an offer to walkings on those games, providing they have paid full on 3 or more games. A token or stamp to provide money off. Also a family match ay ticket for the three games may help.

| family match day tickets would be excellent, but if any of the three games are altered for sky etc. then that may not fit in with other commitments, a family ticket for any three games would be better (or maybe any class of game) so the ticket wouldn't apply to class A games such as Cas, Leeds etc, where crowds are usually quite good anyway, but maybe for use on any three from five as an example. Catalans, London, Salford, Widnes, and one other !

I don't think we need one. Back the badge that was created by the last lot that ran us dry?

Sorry, I should have been clearer. The "badge" we are "backing" was created by the last regime.

| 1975 sold, about 1000 - 1200 down on last year apparently (and I thought we sold 4K another crock of xxxx from the previous regime?).
Just goes to show that even with a relatively decent team garnered together the Wakefield public still won’t part with their money to support it.

I think the problem is that now early bird discounts have passed there is not a huge interest in taking up season tickets as the saving on paying on the day is no longer that great. With the way fixtures get chopped and changed I suppose people who already expect to miss the odd game or two will now find it as cheap or cheaper to just pay on the day. Hopefully they will still come and do that as opposed to not coming at all.
The ideas suggested earlier in this thread for Family Day Passes, or say 3 games for £50 or 5 games for £80 are good ideas but I suspect difficult to manage from a capacity point of view. I suppose it is doable but you would need to issue tickets as vouchers that need to be exchanged in advance otherwise you run the risk of everyone using them for the same games (eg Leeds/Cas) and then you don't know how many tickets you can sell on the gate.

I guess that's the risk the people who were holding out chose to take.
