Years of disappointments over stadium plans and a whole host of other things does tend to leave me a little cynical and negative...sorry guys. It doesn't mean I don't love Trinity and won't always support them but I will also speak my mind as other disappointed supporters have. What is a forum for if you can't challenge the status quo, ask questions and apply a bit of pressure? It seems there are a few on here who view anything negative as disloyal; I can't be in the happy, clappy camp I'm afraid, but if work is going on hard in the background, then good luck to those involved...a bit of an update now and then would be nice, even if it's just to say 'no further on guys, still working on it' and remind us where we are when it disappears off the radar fo months at a time; it's just good PR

It is, but I don't think you'll find a stadium thread that either myself or the Armadillo haven't replied on. We try to offer what we can when we can, but the press aren't interested unless there is something tangible to report. The good news is that there isn't anything bad to report, but it does all mean it's all rather dull just now.

We had 2 meetings in December and have nothing blew that we can report from them! Sorry, but that's how it is - and we do understand how frustrating that is!

I love bv but also understand the need for progress , I think. The location of the stadium aint great in my opinion. I just hope the rest of the wakey public dont agree with my view and turn up in the thousands. A new stadium will be the start of a new direction for our great club and one that will not come easy. Can anyone give me the word on how without an vast increase in gates , and corprate membership the club will take the rewards from the venture. Some seem to think we will attract beter players, better players cost more money . I will be sad to see the end of BV, its been my stomping ground for over 45 years. I only hope the new stadium will not be follow the trends of all new stadiums and have something a bit diffo from the norm.to offer.

There is a website with the whole story on it swag.comoj.com/home.html I don't know how many times it needs saying but the stadium element of the development is enshrined in law, it's part of the planning approval and cannot be moved away from. Yes it can fail IF the development fails - but there are no boats to miss, no walking aways and no broken promises as far as we know. Sorry but I completely lack TRB's patience and diplomacy and frankly your post is a touch condecending but lets move on in the knowledge that we are the closest we have ever been and certain other clubs would give a right arm to be in our situation.
