They lost the form. I did another. They couldn't get the Direct Debit Sorted, they were having problems with The Halifax. It was almost a year before the first DD was taken! I couldn't give them my money....And now it seems nothing has changed.

The way I see it is that a guy who was involved in the club but not actively has suddenly found himself holding the reins of the runaway horse as it bolts down a steep hill to a cliff, all of this with a large crowd looking on. I have no idea how hard it is to resolve what is going on behind the scenes, what kind of mess has been left behind, but the impression I do get is that he is trying his hardest to bring it under control in a way that ensures the horse doesn't bolt again.

There is too much expectation of instant transformation and maybe too much expectation that we can somehow magically carry on as before. The magic formula is probably Glover's marketing skills and Carter's pragmatism.
