Quote: bellycouldtackle "Think this is yet another sign of the deals Glover did with the players, apparently Hull KR directors fell of their chairs when they tried to sit down with Cockstain and his people. They could not believe the deal he was on at Wakey. He will need to take a pay cut to move to any other club. That said the wages Glover paid are not the players fault so good luck to the lad, I hope we can keep him as he is just the sort of lad you want on your side when the going gets tough, a 100% effort everytime he pulls on the shirt, as fans we can not ask for more on that front. I am sure that with some good coaching he can improve his decision making and positioning in defence.'"
He doesn't have an agent for a starter, he is on a decent wage at wakey but not out of this world for a player of his calibre.
So Hull KR are prepared to pay 30k for a transfer fee but then they wont pay a little over the average Superleague salary.
A stumbling block was the length of contract on the table.
I hope Ben stays and wouldn't be surprised if he did.
