| Quote: Agent XIII "In all this group love in don't forget what Halifax had to say about us when our licence was renewed. They were happy then to join the Super League and did not care about Wakefield or it's supporters.
Let's be realistic every club regardless of what they say have an automatic self interest fall back position and would quite happily see the drawbridge to SL drawn up providing they were on the inside.
I guess the top clubs in the championship fear that they would lose money if the RFL plan did not go ahead, so they are very similar to the stance taking by some SL clubs who fear they would lose money if the RFL plan does goes ahead.'"
All the more reason to prevent Lenagan or anyone else with club connections from being part of the governing body of the sport. Do we really want to go back to the days of the Lindsay, Caisley, Hetherington self interested domination of the game? I don't think so

3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

Mainly with the RFL. How did they agree to the Stobart sponsorship with no money coming into the game?
Some of the decisions, Club Call etc have been embarrassing.
People moan about Mo Lindsay, but England / GB were playing to 70 and 80,000 fans under his tenure.

But it was the clubs who voted for that over cash from Betfair!

| I can't remember the teams , but apparently the other week a live RU game on BT got 65,000 watching the "aviva " premiership - whereas on sky , the unsponsored game between Leeds & Warrington got 245,000 viewers !
Surely there's somebody out there that can sell the game better than it is at the moment !

31007_1580947500.jpg EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_31007.jpg |

| So the RFL wanted to introduce a ridiculous and complex three-way spit of 8 each, or whatever it was, and the clubs said no way, re-think, and we are being critical? That's how I see it.
On the whole, the game is in a good state on the field, in my view. The top five clubs are all genuine and potential Grand Final winners, whereas you don't have to go back too far to when it was all Saints and Bradford, when a team in third had no real chance because the top two were so much better. Whether this is because of franchising, who knows?
I can't see Wigan wanting to do anything to harm youth development, given how many of their own talent they produce. The clubs appear to be saying just hold steady, because we don't want another tinker in three years, because no one can sell season tickets on the back of the potential of watching mid-flight rugby for the last 8 games or whatever.
Two leagues of twelve. One up, one down, with a top six play-off.

Not always the numbers watching, but who those numbers are.
