| It is OK for the regular posters on this forum to come on and say that we should do more to help the club, foxy bingo etc but I can remember buying shares in the club only a few years ago just to £500 go down the pan, would I do it again? would I hell as like. You need to remember that most fans do not have a close association with the club and can only see the hard facts as they appear in the news, selling top players, no new signings, threat of closure etc and they get worried that their new season ticket may not be worth diddley come spring 2014. We get Mr Carter coming on this site (I still don't believe Daddy Cool is Carter, would you expect the chairman of Man utd to drop onto their forum for a social chat? no I thought not) telling us that all is well and that there will be a Wakefield team in SL next year. People are sick of this yoyo management at WT and all they want is a team to support they don't care who or how it is run as long as they get to see a game once a fortnight.

| @AndrewGlover1: So far, we have sold 1140 Season Tickets. Does everyone know there is a spread payment plan until the end of the month? #2000AugustTarget
Posted on twitter 20th august. So if correct just 61 sold since. Not good.

| No I am not happy this is my club which I have seen dragged far too often through the mud. How many staff do we have left in the back office. We do not have enough to chase up season ticket renewals you need volunteers to take the place of the people I guess you have made redundant. You are not the first to run the club on a shoestring let's face it Ted did it for a number of years.
I am not one of the yes supporters that appear to spring up in your defence. I do not agree with the way you believe the club can be saved but I suppose you will be the one who will need to stand up and explain to the supporters if you fail. I wish you the best because this is my club long before you came onto the scene but I fear for the future. I unlike some will not freely accept relegation because we have sacrificed the team for £260,000 but survived to languish in the championship safe in the knowledge that we pay bills on time.

| Quote Agent XIII="Agent XIII"I am not happy but we have a self fulfilling prophesy in that without something positive people hold off buying season tickets which leads if it happens to the sale of our more highest valued players which leads to less interest and lower sales. I know you are saying for the greater good lets sell and the club survive but what sort of life will it be.
I am also a little concerned that we now appear to be fast becoming a laughing stock with how the club is being run off the field. [uYou can say what you like but Glover sold the club because that was his expertise[/u albeit without great fiscal restraint. We now have the fiscal restraint but not the charisma to sell the club to the supporters and that is the expertise we need.'"
Only if you can't think for yourself, he sold me nothing and many others too.
If you attended the Cedar court fiasco and had any sense at all you would have worked it out, the bomb started ticking that very night and now we have to suffer.
I agree we need to throw positives out from the club if thats posssible but i can live the dream at whatever level we find ourselves at rather than living in the spiders web of deciet we just escaped from.

You never offer an alternative solution? I'm all ears if there is a better way show me? Just base it on the fact we have no overdraft and no benefactor and show me how you'd run the club based on those constraints?

| The way I see it Trinity have three options:
Option 1 - Go into a prepack, keep the better players but suffer demotion to the Championship or below (thus voiding any contracts the current players may have).
Option 2 - Go into admin, lose the better players for a pittance (or for nothing, see reason above) and suffer demotion to the Championship or below.
Option 3 - Stay out of administration, try and attract investment but be prepared to sell the better players to offset the deficit, go into the new season with a lower quality squad but still have their destiny in their own hands and should they be relegated then at least it was via sporting terms.
Option 3 for me thanks.

Agreed.
Some people seem to think that going into admin and clearing the slate is a good option but, we should be looking at
building a sustainable club.
With our recent history, our credibility is already shot to pieces and to go into admin again would damage the club further.
Having said that, we have to find a way of enticing supporters new and old and just at the moment it is all stick and no carrot which will inevitably mean a drop off in terms of renewals.
We desperately need some good news to lift the mood, be it about Newmarket, S/T sales, player retention, new signings etc

The carrot to me is the promise that Trinity could retain the better players if people renew their season ticket. Its up to us the supporters, unfortunately I have no confidence that they will come to the fore.

The problem been he sold it too cheaply (to the fans anyway) for it to be sustainable! Its easy selling £2 coins for a quid!
Yes things need to be questioned, but as of yet i dont quite see what MC has done that could be seen as questionable or wrong? In time im sure there will be, but for now what has he really done that you dont like?
The guy openly admits he doesnt have the cash to just throw down the drain, that is a SL club. He and Chris have put themselves forward in the hope that they can resolve the issues but they need assistance of the financial kind.
I suppose he could stick his head in the sand and hope the problem solved itself, but i believe thats what got us into the current situation?
