A few months back Adrian Lam was talking up some of the PNG lads to go well in the World Cup. Having Aiton with us may help attract these lads to the club and they'd be good value for money...if the quota allows us.

Even if he's getting 10k per annum, it's 10k that we didn't have and shouldn't have spent.
Although it's with the benefit of hindsight, it's just plain daft (unless it was part of some master plan as we knew that every other senior player would be sold ?)

A vanishingly small amount; I reckon it was a deal with Agar where he would play & train himself fit, in the hope of winning a proper contract for next season.

He's not the cause of our financial woes, that's for sure.
