I would agree in general as I haven't lost anything either....though I have already got my ticket for next season but unfortunately this is an emotive issue for most people.
As you say most haven't lost in monetary terms but that does not make it hurt less.
Some are bothered because they believed what was being said and now feel let down now that the news has come out.
This absolutely doesn't compare to a terminal illness or the trouble in Syria but the issue shouldn't be trivialized. It is an important part of a lot of lives and we'd like to know what the future holds. I don't think that is unrealistic.
I'd also say that on the whole we have kept the emotions under control on here. A lot of agreement and understanding of each other's points, and we seem to be handling the outsiders quite well too. That could have decended into a round of pathetic bickering.
The only thing I'd say is Elston is an issue that a lot of people have strong opinions on when we don't know all the facts. Opinion is of course fine but I hope we don't round on the guy too much and then find later he was just doing his best and others had a hand in this too.
