On a positive note I thought that Tuson played well when he came on.

One of the problems is that the Club Wembley tickets are never used for the rugby, and so that middle ring always looks empty, although I suspect they are counted for the attendance, because the tickets are sold, sort of.

I enjoyed the game. The weather ruined a spectacle but the outcome was always uncertain until the last five minutes (or the second tackle in any Hull set of six). It was a good old-fashioned arm wrestle.

Hull aint a top team ,and have made the best of a very good defensive nature. Wigan quite simply matched them in that quarter and played the game out. Not the best of games but pleasing for Wigan, who didn't have the best form going in to the game. Hull had nothing to offer and key players (not great players ) having off days. Going in to next season I still don't see Hull as a great side,

Odds on Gentle still being their coach in 2014?

Hull will never be happy until they are at the top of the table , and I for one don't see that happening , its to do with culture as well as playing ability. I also think if Gentle does stay on he will have his work cut out to remain in the job a full season.
