Jus because they are wearing a playing shirt doesn't mean they are not fairweather fans. I've got mates who have Leeds Utd shirts but don't go watch more than 5 games a season. |

Let's not jump to assumptions. All the club has asked is to speak to these individuals, it doesn't indicate their guilt. Furthermore, I am sure these aren't the only footage or photo's. The club may well have already identified some of whom were involved.

| Their pictures should go into the Wakefield Express for an appeal and the police should advertise on Crimestoppers if anyone has been assaulted and reported it to the police. Circulate their images on Facebook as well!
Throw the book at any idiots that start to get physical whilst a spectator at a rugby match...probably haven't got the bottle, fitness or any sort of sporting ability to do it on a pitch as a player.
 If they've been involved they are an absolute disgrace to the city. Tar and feathers..... |

Them lads were only protecting the innocent Wakefield fans who were subjected to horrendous abuse during most of the match. They were doing the stewards job for them who were nowhere to be seen, where's the pictures of the widnes fans who were intent in causing trouble all night.

Certainly did them old lads were only looking after our own fans as the stewards were nowhere to be seen. If the stewards had done their properly they would have moved the abusive widnes fans a lot earlier and trouble would have been avoided |
