Having done a bit of research , it seems the cowboys (NRL) have a policy of placing un-required players down into their feeder clubs , as a result  its extremely difficult to break into the cutters side ,  who are currently playing Clint Greenshields at full back .Jordan is therefore playing with the magpies where he has been the m.o m in the last two games , scoring two trys.

Greenshields played first grade at the weekend?

And last weekend - he's going ok.

Liam Taylor is playing full back, so JG is behind him and CG. Taylor is top points scorer so must have played a fair few even with CG there.

greenshields as played several times for the cutters this season mainly on the wing,along with tariq and ashley sims, rory kostagen and michael morgan who is a regular half back with the cowboys who along with several fringe players is in the cutters side this week ,i think the point the poster was making was it was very difficult to force your way into a side made up of mainly nrl or potential nrl playersand from memory from the australian cut out of the announcment of graystons signing he was always signed as cover with the intention he would play most of his rugby with the magpies the cutters feeder team.i think most on here dont know the quality of teams in the intrust super cup,the fullback who was playing first team for hullkr signed for redcliffe dolphins lewis sherriffe hasnt played a game neither as adam slater who signed for burleigh bears ,steve snitch and semi tadulala are struggling to make the northern pride side its a different game over there lads, and anyone with the guts to take it on im sure will come back better for it ,going back to grayston i know hes been used at fullback ,stand off and the last two games where he got mom in the centre

The point is Liam Taylor is keeping him out, you know him - no thought not, not NRL - only been playing RL 4/5 years.
I do not think JG would have been able to save us from the horror of RM.
He may come back, he may well come back better and be SL standard, but he was not SL standard and could not be placed at WTW as he is not placed with Cutters.
