You asked a question, I gave you an answer, please yourself whether you believe it or not.
Do you think that as far as Yorkcourt are concerned Wakefield trinity were ever anything other than a vehicle to get pp for what they wanted out of this deal? and do you know how much they have already invested in the project to get it to this point?
The ground will get built simply because that's the condition of Yorkcourt getting what they want out of the deal, they may not be as concerned with the timescale for building the ground as you are, but they are concerned with getting things sorted generally because they have an awful lot of their own money already tied up in it and this is a life changing deal to the owners.
The club have nothing to bring to this project other than rent at the end of it so as important as it seems to most Wakefield fans that the ground gets built, it is simply a small part of the whole project to the people who have control of it.
