I was speaking to Olly Wilkes at the gym yesterday, he is a top guy and has a lot of time for anyone. Even time to make my 21 month old daughter shy, which is a first! His young'un is around the same age and he had a genuine interest.

I also had the privilege to train near them today and I asked him about the session. He said it was optional and when he said that I (That's me) looked around and was surprised to see only 7 players there.

I hardly think what he says warrants him to be slated. It is actually nice that he has time for the fan's rather believing that he is a class above.

As I understand it the players were never down to stay over, just the coach and his group.

Understand that Richie Mathers mum died a few years ago, hence his fund raising for St Gemmas Hospice.

To clear things up I was speaking to oli and I asked him where the rest of the squad was as they usually all come in together or as individuals not just in a small group. He replied with 'It's an optional training session mate'. That's all that was said.

Don't worry, you've done nothing wrong, Ollie is in the clear too.

The strange thing is that this season the points difference had been very respectable as regards teams around us until recently.
Whereas in previous seasons we were often the ones with the worst.
We have had narrow defeats against Huddersfield, Warrington and Catalans.
If we had managed to win those three we would be sitting 7th.
So something has gone wrong.
I reserve judgement, hoping that problems, can be and will be sorted out.
