Btw, how did Ellis go at the weekend, did he get many minutes under his belt and was there any adverse reaction with his injury ?'" He played for the full 80 minutes and looked fine, ran some good lines as well as putting in a few strong hits with one of them leaving the London winger holding his ribs for a good few minutes. After your win at weekend I'm expecting a good close game.

| The club sold just over 500 tickets for the game so the estimate of 500/600 is bang on.

| I think we'll be bemoaning the same old problems until we start spending full salary cap, which is hopefully after we move into newmarket. What we've seen the last 2 seasons is probably similar to that of all the seasons in Super League before them... we're a struggling mid-lower league team, who at their best can scrape a playoff place.
I just hope Glover can take us further forward when we get into newmarket because I think the squad needs some serious improvements at the end of the next 2 seasons. Players like Lynne, Mellars, L. Smith aren't good enough in my opinion. I've yet to see what L. Smith adds to the team in any position he's played yet I think he often slips under the radar. Raleigh looks like he's struggling at the minute which is a shame, I thought he looked particularly weak and seemed to lose a lot of the collisions against Catalans and it sounded no different yesterday. Ideally, we're a centre, a better stand-off and another good quality prop off being a decent side.

| Hulls defence was absolutely brutal & brilliant, one of the best defensive efforts i've seen, this obviously contributed to our total inability to attack. Which for us hasn't been the problem for us throughout Agar's reign. The number of inside balls were incredibly frustrating as was our "pass to ali" tactic.
Decent turn out from wakey fans.. who were in the main let down.
Mr Roby was totally inept; however if we had the best ref in the world we wouldnt have won in a million years.
Good luck to hull for their CC run.

| Quite simply we were outplayed in every department. Hull did exactely what they did at BV and we have no answer to it. They slowed us down in attack, and without a quick play the ball we were ineffective.
There defence was far superior to ours and was extremly well organised, infact they were an awful lot fitter than us across the park. We couldn't afford to get a couple of scores behind because Hull's tactical kicking game is clinical. They did this at BV and again last night once they had a lead.
The second half, we tried to copy Hull and upped our defence and slow them down, unfortunately the damage was already done and they had the patience and intelligence to play field position and we couldn't make the yards to ever really exert pressure on Hull's line.
In terms of individuals. It was noticeable that Lyne has been truely awful against his former club twice. Washbrook had probably his worst game for us last night too and we desperately miss Mathers. Why was Lee Smith responsible for last play kicks?
