| I think lee smith at s/o like he played 2nd half at cas is the best option, shuffling the back line to put cockayne in at full back as his positioning for kicks is generally very good as is his ball return yardage. Wood is not a stand off and would offer nothing to the team, he offers little off the bench at the moment

Tbf to Wood, he never made it off the bench against Widnes

| to keep things tight defensively he might keep the team as it was last week but switch Washbrook to SO and play an extra forward. Not saying that is what he should do but its a possibility. I would keep Smith at FB in the absence of Mathers and I'd leave Cockayne where he is.

| I think Kyle Wood off the bench as sub hooker works OK but I think he proved against Hemel that he hasn't got the game to play in the halves (especially at Superleague level).
I would leave Smith at fullback when defending but move him up to stand-off when on the attack (which is what we seemed to do against Hemel).
As someone else suggested you can put Washy at 6 and effectively play an extra forward.
Cockayne offers too much from wing to start messing him about IMO.

Totally agree - our exit sets are built around quick metres from Cockayne and Fox and they both do a fantastic job in that regard; it would be potty to mess around with that.

| Think Cockayne can run the ball in from the play the balls just as easy playing full back than wing. His kick returns would be an added danger to Catalans the more involvement he has with ball in the hand the better as he's one of our most dangerous players.
It's also important to have our most experienced players against a strong Catalan so Lee Smith got to be 6 and a strong proven fullback has to replace him - Cockayne. We're lucky we have some classy backs that can play a few positions. Lynne and Wood out of 19 for me as we didn't need Wood against Widnes another forward such as Molloy may help more with go forward which we struggled away against them with.

| Of all the teams for Kyle Wood to start against, Catalans for me would be near the bottom of a prefered list.
Lee Smith to 6, Cockayne to fullback, take your pick on the wing from Mellars or Lynne.
