William Hills give us 4 points start against Widnes this evening and if our forwards play with confidence and get over the top of them, we should come back down the M62 with 2 valuable points.
But, this is a must win game for both teams and we will need some magic from Smith & Smith and something from Ali to get some points on the board.
Think Widnes will be to strong and skillfull for us. Our lads have proved this season to be mentaly weak, Bradford, Salford, Hull matches showed they have the ability to think they are better than their opposition and just expect to win. Following last weeks very impressive game from Liam Kay I would have liked him to start at full back, he is good enough and it also means that we could then keep Sykes at 6 and Lee Smith in the centres, ie less disruption. One thing is cetain if we try and tackle Hock with some of that shirt grabbing, going high technique that we have been seeing this season then he will destroy us. Need to make sure we tackle him round the legs. I would have liked to see Walshaw get a game as he is one of our best one on one defenders and would have done a good job on Hock, remember how he looked after Manu at Hull last year.
