Not seen a replay yet or read any reports (and only got to this point in the thread so could be repeated elsewhere, but as I saw it:
Something went on in the tackle, leading to either a shove or punch from Farrel. Poore retaliated and dropped Farrel with a cracker. Small melee ensued, we received penalty and Poore got the red.
If Farrel threw a punch then he deserved the same punishment as Poore, if he shoved then probably not. I personally don't agree with red cards for 1 on 1 fisticuffs, but that seems to be the way of the world this year so it was fair enough. How Farrell got away with only conceding a penalty I am not sure.
On the whole, as is fairly common when a man gets sent off (Like with Leeds last week) it probably galvanised us and helped to up our game as at that point if could have easily turned into Hull KR part 2 for Wigan and all credit to the lads they dug in and had a real go, I am sure many sides would have buckled so they deserve praise for that. 2 very tired teams in the last quarter though, and given the pace that Wigan had we did well to compete with them for the majority of the game other than a lull mid way through the game.
I don't think that Smith looked fit in the 2nd half and obviously loosing Mathers didn't help (or look good). Aiton played really well, Annakin had another good game.
