Right, been mega busy at work so not done an update from the Panthers 12s.

Big thanks to Hutchie and all at Hull Wyke who worked overtime just to get the game played the other week.

Panthers season opener against Stanningley was probable the worst we have seen them play. lost 50 -12 and really found it difficult to find a positive, but in true binks style I did. we were 32 - 0 down at half time but still came out in the second half and competed so showed at least some character. Credit to a Stanningley side who were well drilled and intelligent with the ball.

Onwards as they say training was a little different this week as we now have their attention.

Congrats to Yr 7 Cas Academy boys who joined years 9,10,11 in the Yorkshire Champions Schools Cup Finals with a 20 - 10 win over Corpus Christie, a game played at Eastmoor which Cas never looked like loosing but struggled to make their dominance count.

Well done Steve,wish the yr8s were in the final too but they got what they deserved in their semi losing 20-18 having been 20-0 down with 10 minutes to go having looked very uninterested up to that point.but at least they showed a bit of character running in 4 tries in that 10 minutes and with a touchline kick missing by inches their fate was sealed!!

Anyone know why Siddal v Crigg 13's is postponed tomorrow??

Siddal have injuries and wont be able to raise a team.

Stanley Rangers U15s away to Hunslet Warriors on sunday ko 12.00

also there's a schools final this week for the same age level for Outwood Academy v Castleford High this will be played at Cas lock lane on Tuesday night ko. 19.00

Panthers 13s lost out 20-26 in an entertaining game against a very strong east Leeds side.

For the second week running it was a late score that settled the game.

Anyone tell me the difference between Oulton Vikings and Oulton Raiders at u13s.
Both on same website,same home ground?
Is it an A + B team - but i thought these had to be in different divisions?

they will be run independently as do the stanley rangers U16s and stanley rangers A U16s
