I'm kind of neutral about the segregation issue, but, for me, as the club came out and made a statement about segregation and it being in place for this season I think it's important they enforce it.

Enforce may be too strong a word to use but if a company makes a statement like that they should stick to it, otherwise it's just an empty gesture like parents who tell their children they're going home if they misbehave, but then don't actually do anything about it.

All this nonsense started when the roof went on the terraced end in the infamous Cas riots incident (irony folks) Since when did we need segregation at RL?

We put the roof on, then we did the silly 'This City Is Ours' Promo...a few fist fights in that Cas game and suddenly we need segregation. I am slightly puzzled as to how we got to this debate and opinion at the club

I think its simply so that the new roof can be used by the home fans rather than the away fans. We tried having both supporters in last year and it turned nasty, so logical to take this step imo.

The roof certainly helps with improving the atmosphere but, there will need to be a different plan when Cas, FC and Leeds come visiting, they usually bring more support than will sqeeze onto the Western Terrace.
Will these games be all ticket ?

As others have said if you're going to have segregation enforce it. A good handful of Farts where stood on the Northern Terrace which in such small numbers isn't a problem, but its a slippery slope to more and more away fans standing there and potential antaonisation between the two sets of supporters when one of the big clubs or Cas visit.

Give me the West Stand any day. All the most intimidating grounds have the home fans collected en masse down the sides. Leeds, Warrington, the old Saints ground. My matchday experience is lessened but I can understand why they've done it.

Having said that, looking at all the Hudds fans in the West Stand, the hail just didn't get hard enough.
