You make a very good point. Although I said I'm pleased for him, I would have preferred him to go unoticed for a little bit longer.
He spoke about being here for the long term when he started (and in his interview apparently) but we are not a big club yet and when those big clubs are in need of a coach, it would be better for us if they weren't thinking of Agar.
In a few years time, when we ahve continued to beat bigger teams and are regarded well enough that we can bring in another coach of his standing then so be it but we are not there yet.
If Agar left we would be looking at the same old same old all over again.

It will be announced officially soon enough, what you expect the Club to do about premature speculation on face book is a mystery. It's almost impossible to give out info officially in the time span required to beat the Twitter posters.

I really don't see a problem with this appointment. We must accept that RA can take both jobs in his stride.The french job is hardly the most taxing in RL and like someone else on here says, he will have first look at up and coming french talent.
I've already dismissed this news and am focusing on Huddersfield as I am sure RA is.

Again I have to ask why you think you are entitled to private info regarding an individual work commitments? This is not the same as a season ticket offer or a changed kick off time.

So no you don't have any right to know until it's officially announced when club and individual are ready. You and I may be fans but we are actually customers - do Asda tell you every special offer in advance etc etc.

Bit of kudos for the club IMO, we’ve taken a broken coach and in a short time he’s got some International respect on the back of his success here.

He may go from strength to strength, he may in the future, get poached by a “bigger” club – that’s life.
