The club can do all they want to encourage people to go behind the sticks, just not my cup of tea.

No there isn't as i have mentioned on a post above Castleford have one stand for members only (the wheldon road end) but away fans can stand here if they have a membership which away fans can purchase if they wish to, this has only come into effect this year. |

So cant many of us who usually park on the West side of the ground now come through the West Turstyle ? Will away fans all have to travel along the snicket between the main gate to get to the West stand turstyles and will that cause congestion in that area ?

Initial reaction from me is ............. no. I enjoy the West Stand, rain or no rain. You're not too far removed from actual play no matter where it is or which half. I've had many a good chat and a bit of friendly banter with away fans. Even a voluntary segregation like this just increases the "us and them" atmosphere and possible antagonism and aggravation. I think the turnstile issue COULD be a further problem, but up to now no plans for any changes have been announced. I'll probably still go the West Stand but I will be sad there won't be the same mix of people there as there has been. Maybe I'll have to try the East Stand if it becomes a problem.
