What followed hower was something that stole all the headlines onhere , the "best match of the entire weekend" was being thown around all over the place .
and the staff at wakefield and others were double happy . a great tourniment over a super weekend with the talk of the weekend being a wakefield up and coming club as Crigglestone Scraped A win.
Since that match Crigglestone have not been beaten and nither have East Hull the only thing that as changed is that they are 13 and due to a very very nice draw here we are at the BARLA finals 1 year on
today Easts beat Wests in what I presume would of been a tight derby 10-24 i think ish
[uand crigg once again put 40 away without reply[/u but the test will come on final day as Easts will surley be up not just for the cup but for some east yorkshire pride.
i can not wait if you can get to the junior barla finals , im sure more news on time and dates will follow.'"

TBF there are two pitches,but more often than not the "ploughed field" is used,hell of a slope which they try to use to their advantage. |

Agree.The players and parents were also a credit to the Crigg club.Pleasant change to host a team that doesnt bring parents that just want to "mouth off" all the game.
My own lad was quite shocked when the Crigg fullback(i think)apologised to him after the game --- for dumping his face in the mud.

It's great when young lads surprise you like that; we played West Hull a few weeks ago and at the end of the game, the entire team came over to our touchline and applauded our spectators - it was a lovely gesture that took everyone aback. Smashing lads. |
