I think we have made the two most important signings we have made in the last 25 years in the last two month.
Second most important is Smith. Quality player who could have got another gig in SL as so many have in the past. He could be better than Solomona as he is a pivot player and runs the game.
First and by far the most important is Amor. Regardless of how little some Leeds fans rate him or indeed McNamara - he is undoubtably a player we the fans and the club wanted to keep. We kept him against stiff opposition from far more fashionable clubs. When did we last manage that!. It's a notice of intent that we no longer sell. If we produce a player we keep them. Won't happen every time but this is a start, a massive start. As it happens I think Amor will go all the way but that's not really the point.
Much as I sympathised with the old regime, the latter is something they never did and IMHO never had the will to.
