Quote: vastman "Never got all this we have a small pack short of numbers stuff. Seems to be an obsession with some Trinity fans who seem to think every position can be covered by 10 first class players.

If I had and issue it's that we don't have an obvious big lad at prop in the youth set up who may be worth a few run outs this season. That for me is the real issue - there should be a player at the club now who is roughly where Amor or Johnson were two seasons ago - that's where your depth comes from.'"

Not watched the 20's then?

Passionate or is it young Issac? For what its worth, i agree with you but for Kiwi teddy bear in NRL read decent ESL impact prop.

A pack containing Amor, Raleigh, Wilkes, Poore & James as Props with Kirmond, Ali & Mariano in SR accompanied with young players promoted from within would be ideal. Yes Moses would be a nice luxury if we can get the best out of him but its important we keep that pathway available for our academy players who have the potential.

I'm all for imports such as Aiton, Collis, Smith & Poore who have established themselves in the NRL but we've talent on our doorsteps too

lol how wish i was his age!! Let alone the opportunities the young have these days. But have the injuries to prove those days are over for me - bugger (we were tougher in my time). To old to play now but am a Ref (giving back to the game I love). My opinion is totally from watching alot of Moses games - not from what is written on the net. And on that point he is a really nice fella and so is his family!!!

I agree with this too!! But until RL sorts out the lower grade to promote our youth this is not going to happen. one step forward two steps back. Sad but true.

eusa_think.gif Sounds like a Kiwi friend of Issac John to me having joined the forum around three weeks before Issac John signed for Wakefield in October 2011 and a few weeks after Ali signed in August 2011. Very knowledgeable about both Masoe, John & Tim Smith from your previous posts over the season as well as knowing Masoe and his family?

Its not Ali is it? a014.gif

Whether Masoe signs or not WTW can't afford to keep I.J. as we have sufficient cover from other players in our squad (L.Smith/P.Sykes/M.Wildie) and may be Bobbie Goulding Junior?
We have a stronger pack with Poore and maybe James will develop further this season into a top prop.
