I'm afraid that I wasn't at that particular game or didn't see what happened. I never heard what he did but have clearly picked up over the years that he is disliked by many fans of Wakefield. Without knowing what he did I can't judge him.
Either way, I found the whole incident of abuse to him very distasteful.
Sam Tomkins amongst others gets a lot of stick from fans of all teams. I find this distasteful as well and his reaction at Wembley certainly didn't help his cause. Banter and friendly winding up of players is part of the game for me. Personal attacks with vile language is beyond the pale. I know people talked of the Cas fans giving Mathers some horrible abuse whilst at Wheldon Road this year. It's sorry to see that we could be close to being associated with such behaviour.
