Kyle will be here next year

There’s been quite a few, Gaz Ellis, Broughy, Atkins, Solomona – I could go on.

Without looking back, I’d say the Ellis fiasco went on the longest.

The Ellis saga did drag, but it was the off season so im not sure if it just felt like it was longer than it actually was???

Going back to the days before the t'internet and forums, as a youngster i was far more excited about the promise of Laurie Daley coming. To the point that i requested for Xmas one of the character t/shirts the club had printed a little prematurely. Alas i was to be dissapointed. I know im going back a while, but is there anybody out there who has the said t/shirt??

Even if it were just for another season it really would show that we mean business when it comes to keeping our better players

That said we won't be able to keep them all and although I'm not one of the fans on here who is 'in the know' on his deal it seems we are doing everything we can to keep him

That for me with everything else mr glover is doing is enough

I agree, we won't win em all but a line in the sand is a start. Also helps he's the sort you could build a future pack around. He may or may not be world class in the future, only time will tell. However he's Trinity class and some already so he will do for me.

I remember the excitement when Daley had apparently "signed" for us. That was before the days of internet forums and I never found out why it fell through? Did he break a gentleman's agreement and was offered a better deal back home?

I also never got the story behind the headlines as to why Mark Graham left? It all seemed a bit sudden and I couldn't find any explanation. The fact that he took Brent Todd back with him did ease the blow for me



Anyone care to enlighten me? These thoughts have often crossed my mind for many a year.

Back on topic, fingers crossed Amor will stay. He's the youngest of the three mentioned and certainly has the brightest future.

Something at the back of my mind is telling me Daley either suffered an injury or Canberra made a late surge for play offs?? Could be completely wrong tho??

Canberra went on an incredible run to make the play-offs i believe. A bit like us lol
