Just going to add my 2p worth to the mix as i live in Ponty.
Wakefield fans and team yesterday was a massive credit to the sport,i reckon best away support at MS3CP all season even more than FC brought.
The team didnt let you down and one thing i do love is seeing away fans celebrate when they beat us,winning should be enjoyed and you guys did it,seeing the Waky players going over the ad hordings to shake hands etc with you guys makes this sport the best.
Next time when you come hopefully the new stand will be up but with it being a 52 week build it depends if you play us early or at the same time of year.
You was warned about the poor view at that end,if you are there again next year,get Andrew G to hassle Rovers for Waky to sell Well tickets,imagine if you had been down that side ?
Last but not least best wishes for the last 2 games,play offs hopefully for you and thanks for yesterday !

Thanks for the comments, they are much appreciated. As for the view we were warned so it didnt come as a shock. The last few weeks we have had all sorts of excuses for teams losing to us, refreshing to be congratulated. Hope if we don't make playoffs that you do. All the best for the last 2 games.

I would also like to thank the Wakefield fans for their generous applause for Hull's Olympic gold medalist Luke Campbell who did a walk round the touchlines at half time.

You were nearly as loud for him as you were for your team! Great stuff.

Thought this was great to see Luke at half time, as an olypiam its about being top dog hes done it good luck to him and wht I have seen of him seems a top lad.

Just to add that the whole grounds respect for our ex player Dave Hossell was quite moving,i had a tear in my eye as over 8700 stood in silence,thanks for paying your respects so well !

One thing about RL fans is that no matter what the rivalry on the pitch or on the terraces (or plastic seats) is that we all have a sense of perspective, and in times of loss we all stand shoulder to shoulder - it's happened all too often at Wakey in recent years, and I believe that the respect that is shown by fans is some comfort to those who feel the loss most keenly.
