Quote: passionate "If the U20's had all those penalties and you think that Wigan had an extra player on the field (Ref), does that not show how well the team really played!! And I do not feel it is disrespectful for the coach to go up to the referee - he needs to know what the team is doing wrong(the Refs point of view) to be able to correct the fault. And who better to ask!'"
Totally agree the coach does need to know what his side is getting penalised for, but the way in which Glen approached the ref does not set a good example. Unlike what 'financialtimes' states Glen did race over to the ref showing his frustration, I understand it is hard when the ref was a total clown but maturity and composure would be best. Wait until your inside and go to the ref's changing room and ask for a word to clarify the problems. I have no problem with Glen at all, and think he will develop into a good coach once he realises he is not a player now and his frustrations must be put across in a more positive manner.
