And we all know that bikes don't stop at traffic lights anyway, so the box is a completely pointless idea

The box is all the way across the lane to give us a chance of pulling away without being mowed down by an impatient idiot in a car.

And no, bikes shouldn't be near the kerb.

Finally - some do, but not all of us - myself included!

Is the road not big enough for all of us just needs a bit of common sense and decancey from us all who use it.

There may be about 5% of them that are alright, the rest are just a danger to themselves and everyone else on the road.....many of them deserve to be mowed down.....the amount I regularly see just going straight through red lights beggars belief. Also hate the ones who ride side by side....regularly shout out of the window at them



I know there's masses of bad car drivers on the road, but cyclists are worse by far!!


Oh....and under that bridge down near Thornes Park has been bad for flooding ever since I was a lad....usually takes about an hours worth of rain and it's flooding....

So much to go at there, I'm not sure where to start.

Perhaps your suggestion that cyclists 'deserve' to be mowed down will be some comfort to the widow of a friend of mine, who was killed instantly by a HGV whilst waiting to pull away at traffic lights?

I said 'many' of them.....that being the many that I see who have absolutely no regard for rules of the road!....and there's a hell of a lot from my experience....

Cyclists and Taxi drivers are exempt from the law.

Don't get this bit about cyclists and the road. Most people on bikes these days are on the pavement., and seem to think they have a right to be there.
