| A great comeback for you that just failed was in 1999 at Knowsley Rd.
My team Saints led Wakey 32-6 just after half-time but you then scored 5 tries in about fifteen minutes to go 34-32 ahead with less than 10 to go.We then scored a couple of late ones to snatch back the win.
Tony Kemp and Wayne McDonald ripped us to shreds in that 15 minutes spell-the second half was astonishing viewing as our lead got eroded and we were lucky to pinch it back at the end.
Btw,good win today.

| Quote Atilla="Atilla"Thrum hall in the late 80s i think wakey were 22-0 down at half time, billy conway inspired fightback and won 22-24 IIRC'"
Yes that was at the end of a season where Wakefield had managed to stay up for the first time in years to stop the yo yo syndrome. 1987 ish. We went on a great run at the end of that season beating Bradford at Odsal Top to secure survival (Paul Malinder broke his leg that night) we also beat Saints at home and then finally came back from the dead to beat Halifax at Thrum Hall inspired by Billy Conway and Tracey Lazenby.
Last season away at Cas springs to mind but I am not counting the semi in 79 as we were not dead and buried. Today at 30 14 down we were certainly dead and buried.

Can remember that, when we finally scored a Trin fan shouted lets have four more, got a laugh but then i think we did score the four more only for Newlove to score to put the game to bed.
If i remember correctly(its a long time ago).

| KR away a few years back just after Toppo had died. Scored 3/4 tries in the last 10/15 minutes to snatch a very unlikely win not the biggest comeback but one of the most poignant that sparked a great celebration.

Ho ho yes. That one was quality. It was also brilliant in 2007 when we ambushed Saints at Belle Vue and did the same to leeds at Headingley.

| I remember that Thrum Hall classic, loved it, the atmosphere and the singing "You are my Conway, my Billy Conway!".
Also remember the Andy Wilson classic and the following weeks of singing "Andy Wilson has only got one......"
I've tried various times to see the 1979 semi (before I followed Trin) but never been able to find any coverage either online or video. Would desperately like to see how good we used to be.

| Leeds at home 1991/92 season, come back from 20-4 (20 to go) down to win 22-20. Micheal Jackson scored the winning try!

| 79 for me, never forgot the feeling that we were nearly there at Wembley only for the game to be apparently snatched away from us near the end, and then the miracle of Fletchers try, despair to ecstasy in a twinkling.

Jamie Rooney scored a "toppo" like try.

| There was a great comeback against London at Brentford when Brad Davis stole the ball for us to score late on after we had played crap for most of the game and came back to win, cant remember the year but i think it was when Martin Moana did the Haka at the Boat Inn...
