Fanfare for the Common Man by ELP is obviouly vintage now but still a cracking bit of music. Hull FC still play Baba O'Reilly by the Who so age of song doesn't matter. I am not a classical buff but some pieces are pretty emotive, i.e. 1812 overture (with cannons)
You need a song a wide age group can relate to. Perhaps a few could be tried to await feedback.
Definitely not Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep though.

Crank it up to full volume and read the lyrics. We need to have a modern day anthem I feel that players & fans alike can identify with aswell as something that is quite commercial when Sky/other Media etc turn up. k020.gif
Every post is quite right so far apart from the 'midgets pack' if you're over 6 foot and 16 stone plus then you're not a midget although its probably tongue in cheek. If we can take on the Catalan giants and beat them then its not the size thats the issue with WTW.

If its nostalgia and going back to the golden era then what about 'Walking Back to Happiness' sung in the great film 'This Sporting Life' (1963) we've almost gone back to the same kit worn in the film 40 years ago. eusa_whistle.gif

Sheffield Utd use a song United we stand' sang in their classic film linked with their club.
