One difficult game to call between Leigh and Halifax sorted the men from the boys, with nine selecting all eight ties and unfortunately Bren2k fell on the closest the attendance rule. The correct attendance according to Lge Exp at the Salford v Leeds match was a disappointing 4500.

Batley and Featherstone ran SL clubs close and could have caused a different outcome.
