| Its a win and its 2 points for the Wildcats. Somethings to work on again no doubt (focus on second half) but we did enough to deserve it from the first half performance. Salford had a few decisions go their way.
R.A. don't take 3 forwards off in one go second half - may be an idea phased interchanges would be better. Seems thats when they got a roll on 
Well done though Wakefield! Heard Ali may be back for next game?  |

| dire second half
we should of taken the two points at 22-6 instead we went on to play for the 6 points then salford scored which made them 10 points behind, the nerves kicked in and we was lucky to come through that game.
my satisfaction was that we then steadied the ship to add to goals taking us to a sufficient enough lead to hold on.
if you look back at the first half we should off buried the game within the first 30 mins
not a pretty win but a win nerveless so heads up and look at the next game this season is going to be a grind

Pedestrian ??? How's that work then ??? The yardage we were making every set was far from pedestrian, just the type of rugby we need for 80 mins. Total domination is what I'd describe it as, backed up by the sky sports team. 40-0 wouldnt have looked out of place at the break. How the hell Aiton dropped that ball over the line is still puzzling me. Good win !!! If we hadn't been hanging on at the end it wouldn't have been a WTW performance. Comfortable wins are not in our script ! Ever. |
