Why, I'd put Marriano back where he belongs and see him punching holes like last year. We are not short of players IMHO just not playing all the right ones in all the right positions - Mr Preview. |

Definate sway in balance in favour of 2nd rowers to props in the squad. I dont buy this Wilkes is a 2nd rower stuff. He has been a Super League prop for 5 years now.
That said, we still only have 3 out and out props in the squad, which makes you wonder why we got Kirmond and Raleigh from the Giants when we did. Strange as it may sound as they have been 2 of our more consistent players, when we had the players we had already signed on, could the money have been spent better elsewhere??

As you say the Huddersfield lot have been consistant performers this season, obviously rated higher than what was currently at Wakey by Agar. So im guessing in his opinion it wouldn't have been better spent elsewhere. Maybe he was hoping the Mariano's, Johnson's and James's would have all stepped up and performed to last years standards, which by all accounts they haven't (I wasnt watching WTW last year so can't form an opinion on this).
