Agree with this. I didn't want him to get the job in the first place (although it seems there weren't many other viable alternatives based on Sandal Cats post on another thread), and his apparent failure to address some basic flaws in our game leave me convinced that we are not going to get the best out of this group of players with him in charge. That said, I think we have to be realistic in that as a minimum he will be given a year by the BOD.
My only concern is whether attendances both for this year and next year will be dramatically affected by his continued employment. Unfortunately, I think they will, with a double whammy for next season, as I think they will need to raise the season ticket prices. Consequently, we will have less people buying season tickets; others who won't want to pay extra for them; and other types of member and walk up fans not bothering, all due to results and performances.
The saving grace maybe a positive decision on NM. However, if NM doesn't get the green light, all the benefits of the positive strides off the field are likely to quickly be undone, with the clubs SL franchise seemingly dead in the water.
